Weekly Update – 5th September, 2022

This week I began working on my Major Review Document. A Major Review is completed at the end of your first year of full-time study. The purpose of a Major Review is to confirm a PhD student is making acceptable progress and displaying the capability to complete a PhD thesis. There are two parts to a Major Review: a written document and a presentation with a discussion.

I also did a run through of the first visit of my first study and familiarised myself with the order of each test.

Journal club is a meeting where researchers meet and discuss a chosen scientific paper. I also attended the European Cystic Fibrosis Society Exercise Work Group’s journal club.
