How You Can HelpCF Warriors was founded by Josh Llewellyn-Jones and his brother Mark. Josh was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth and at the age of 2, was fortunate enough to meet Dr Bob Kramer from Dallas, Texas. His advice to Josh's parents was to 'run his legs off' and exercise always needed to play a big part in Josh's life to keep him fit and healthy. Nearly 30 years on and Josh is as fit as he's ever been. Passionate about helping children with cystic fibrosis, Josh and Mark set up CF Warriors to motivate, inspire and support children on their journey to a longer, happier and healthier life.
Our EventsWe are collaborating with the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC), based at the University of Exeter to evaluate our warrior packs, as well as conduct bespoke research projects around the theme of Exercise for People with Cystic Fibrosis. Established in 1987, the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre is based in the School of Sport and Health Sciences and provides arguably the finest facility in the world for the study of the exercising young person.
