How You Can Help

CF Warriors was founded by Josh Llewellyn-Jones and his brother Mark. Josh was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth and at the age of 2, was fortunate enough to meet Dr Bob Kramer from Dallas, Texas. His advice to Josh's parents was to 'run his legs off' and exercise always needed to play a big part in Josh's life to keep him fit and healthy. Nearly 30 years on and Josh is as fit as he's ever been. Passionate about helping children with cystic fibrosis, Josh and Mark set up CF Warriors to motivate, inspire and support children on their journey to a longer, happier and healthier life.

Our Events

We are collaborating with the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC), based at the University of Exeter to evaluate our warrior packs, as well as conduct bespoke research projects around the theme of Exercise for People with Cystic Fibrosis. Established in 1987, the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre is based in the School of Sport and Health Sciences and provides arguably the finest facility in the world for the study of the exercising young person.

    X-Box Warriors Gaming Marathon

    Glasgow, Scotland

The latest endeavour for CF Warriors will see 4 Glasgow schoolboys, aged 14, spend their last lockdown X-Box gaming hours before school starts again in a 16 hour gaming and fitness marathon to raise funds for CF Warriors and show that virtual charity events can work just as well as live ones! With Elaine Milne as ‘Production Manager’ (who knew…) and Ben as Team Captain, he and his schoolmates Kyle, Cayden and Ryan will undertake 16 hours of gaming and fitness (timetable in progress as we speak!) on Friday April 9th, with full supervision from their Mums, and me on Social Media duty!

There might even be a few surprises along the way, with Josh Llewellyn-Jones OBE himself popping in for the occasional game and to keep the boys going with some fitness sessions! Please support the boys with their challenge as they help kids who suffer from cystic fibrosis and try to make their days a little brighter! Stay tuned for updates as we prepare for the day! Thanks in advance for your support! #cfwarriors #charity #fundraising #virtualfundraising #challenge
